MEDiCLAIM will populate the standardised electronic claim form thus reducing the time spend filling out the claim forms.
- Physical signature is no longer required for e-claim submission
- Consultant will log into MEDiCLAIM using their user name & password
- Consultant is presented with the claim information to be submitted to the insurer including the insurer consultant declaration (claim form is pre-populated)
- Claim will be authorised by consultant
- Consultants authorisation details will be stored with the claim record on MEDiCLAIM
On submission day +1, you will have the ability to retrieve the status of that successfully submitted claim, by calling the Claim Status Service from each Insurer.
